CORONAVIRUS: STOP THE SPREAD

Posted on

After so long in isolation, I can’t wait to be able to escape back into the wilderness of the outside world!

2020 has been one hell of a ride, that’s for sure. I loved lockdown the first time round! It gave me a chance to finally go through all of the photos I’ve snapped on my last few adventures & I’ve loved sharing my ~ BRUNCH IN BALI BUCKET LIST ~ recommendations with you! I hope I’ve provided you with some inspiration for your next trip when the international borders reopen!

At first I enjoyed the time at home and adjusted to the ‘new normal’ knowing that no matter where we live in the world, we were all going through this together. ⁣However, it’s now been 7 months since I’ve seen my family and I’ve spent most of the last 4 months at home, alone. Somehow I’ve managed to keep my spirits high most of this time, relying on calls with my family & friends on the down days. But I have to be completely honest… the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic that has taken hold here in Melbourne, Australia has been really hard.

It’s scary to see how quickly the virus has been spreading since cases of coronavirus have escalated.

Wearing a mask is much harder than it looks and mentally going back into lockdown is another hurdle to overcome. But it is so important to protect ourselves, our loved ones and the broader community from this deadly disease.

I can’t wait for the day that we can all re-emerge from these restrictions and roam free in our new world, when we finally get on top of this. But for now, let’s all stay home and stay safe, or if you live interstate or overseas in regions where restrictions are easing, please keep social distancing and washing your hands! It’s been a long battle, but it’s not over yet.
